Well, let’s take a closer look and see if we can really narrow down whether or not you are having psychic dreams, or just regular everyday dreams.

There is a large number of the scientific community that believes your subconscious may in fact be a window into a realm of the unperceived world.  A look into the metaphysical world.  Like a worm comprehending color without possessing eyes.

Many studies have even been done to examine thought and perception that surround the psychic realm.

Without detailing the experiments to an exhaustive extent, it was found that many people were able intuit, or know, how to react to something that had not yet happened, or been perceived to be about to happen.  This is blanket intuition and is often what we believe to comprise psychic dreams.

Most of us are already believers in this phenomena and will need very little to persuade to believe that this is a part of reality.  But others are extremely skeptical and need hard evidence.  But they are the ones that do not experience the psychic dreams that we do.

The simplest way to identify if you area really having psychic dreams is to write down your dreams.  You will be surprised at how much shows itself to be real insight and intuition, and how much is simply coincidence or your mind trying to find a correlation that does not exist.  But regardless, writing your dreams down is the only way to find hard evidence toward your experiences having any validity.

In the end, you may find you really do have some psychic intuition.  And if you really are having psychic dreams, then pay attention to them, as they can be extremely helpful to you and to others.

Unfortunately there is not easy answer to whether or not you are being guided through your dreams.

There have been a lot of books written on the subject of dream intuition.  Very few of them coincide and that leaves us with a lot to interpret and intuit for ourselves.  Add in that every mind works differently and that imagery may mean something different to one person than another, and it becomes even muddier water.

These questions come about because we desire to understand all that is around us.  We are curious animals, and are not satiated until we have the answers we are looking for.  Add in something unexplainable that represents the safety to ourselves and our loved ones, and we become almost obsessed with finding the truth.

So here is the most important piece of guidance you will get about psychic dreams:  If you are meant to know something from your dreams, then you will know it.

It’s that simple.  Trust yourself, and your intuition.

If you don’t understand a dream, and have a hard time applying meaning, then there probably isn’t much there to understand.  But if you have a feeling it means something, or it is pretty clear what it means, then trust that feeling or interpretation.

Dreams are a difficult mechanism to understand, and even more so if they are an intuitive psychic dream.  So don’t waste a lot of time and effort trying to discern what cannot be comprehended and focus instead on feelings you get from your suspected psychic dreams.

What exactly is a psychic dream?  Could it be a random set of imagery that coincidentally matches parts of the waking world and we just assume they were related?  Of course.  But we don’t believe so.

We believe that dreams can, and do, help us tap into a real of our own existence that our five senses are not prepared to handle otherwise.  This realm, is part of the psychic realm.

In general terms, psychic dreams are a tap into the ethereal world that is subject to neither time nor physical space.  Since it is not subject to time, it is entirely possible to see into the past and the future.  This is where the intuition part comes in.

An example of a psychic dream would be someone dreaming about a loved one having a fatal car accident, then that same accident, or a similar one, actually occurring.  If you had a dream like that, wouldn’t you want to know it could have been a warning of something that was preventable?

In the sense that psychic dreams could help you alter an unfavorable future, they bring with them a very powerful presence and potential for good doing.

In a less paranormal sense, psychic dreams can actually help people cope with emotions.  For example grief and a sense of loss.  Or even with situations that carry a large amount of anxiety.  So these dreams don’t necessarily have to have any ‘predictive’ potential to be very helpful.

Just ignore skeptics and cynics and be true to yourself.  You are your only real critic, and if you have faith in yourself then you will have a difficult time being steered in the wrong direction.  Believe in your intuitive psychic dreams, and believe in yourself.

Throughout recorded time, healers across the glove have preached about the dream world.  How it can sometimes have healing power, or be a conduit for prophecy.  But today, people are highly skeptical as they have allowed the age of reason to override their intuition.  This may very well be what prevents most people from having psychic dreams.  They consciously turn off the ability.

Any part of the psychic world carries controversy.  And it will until the day comes when it can be explained with scientific reason.  However, think about those who claimed the world was round before it became proven fact.  Just because it cannot yet be proved, does not make it false unless it can be decidedly disproved.

It is not easy having a psychic ability as it can often mean social scrutiny or isolation.  People judge what they do not understand, and if you are having psychic intuition then you must be prepared to be judge and possibly ridiculed.

The first thing you may want to do, if you suspect you are having psychic experiences, is to contact a professional in the psychic world.  This can be an astrologer, a professional psychic, or other paranormal professional.  You will need to be open to the unexplained, and may have to take a few things on faith, but your intuition will most likely guide you correctly.
